Rainbow Bag Of Dreams
To some, rainbows might look like the new and current ‘must have trend,’ however for someone like me, rainbows have never gone out of style!
The rainbow colour-way and print is all over the catwalks and high street right now and we are really spoilt for choice on what piece of the rainbow to take home with us.
However I do believe I may have discovered the best treasure of all at the end of my rainbow…
I was extremely lucky and grateful to wake up on my birthday a couple of weeks ago to the most insanely beautiful and extraordinary handbag of my dreams from my rather lovely husband. As I opened my present and gently pulled it out of its dust-bag, Steve informed me of how he’d been on his own fairy-tale type voyage on obtaining this bag and how it almost ended up with not a happy ending…
The Quest To Find The Bag
The bag in question had been OOS for quite some time on Kurt Geiger and Selfridges website as well as our local store. Steve starting to sweat, called KG head office and explained the situation and begged them in a polite and formal manner as you do, to help him find this bag in time for my birthday.
His words not mine were that they were ‘more than happy to help’ him on his quest and ‘went above and beyond’ in locating the bag in one of their stores in outer London. It also happened to be the last bag in stock in the whole of the UK at that moment in time!
Once hearing we didn’t live anywhere near the store that held the rainbow bag of dreams, they kindly offered to have it sent out to him so zero stress (or sweat)-was to be had.
Overall-AMAZING customer care and bravo KG! 🙂
On To The Bag
Is it not the prettiest thing you have ever seen?!
They offer this style of bag in a variety of fabrics, finishes, colours and prints-not just this rainbow style!
I love how it mixes up traditional quilting of a bag with super stylish chevron panels and a very good quality Chanel-esque chain handle, that can be adjusted to make the bag hang shorter or longer.
It’s a great size and easily fits in my long purse, iPhone X, keys and a couple of make-up items (but not my make-up bag).
It’s the type of bag that no matter the day or occasion, you can throw it on and immediately add a statement piece to your look and a conversation starter. It’s quite a unique bag to be sporting round your local Waitrose 😉
What do you think of the rainbow style vibes?
Are you as big a fan as I am?
If so…meet you at the end of the rainbow!
